About Me – Your Professional Wedding Master of Ceremonies
My name is Szablya Ákos ceremóniamester, and above all, I am your master of ceremonies. I feel truly grateful that I can be part of what is probably the most beautiful day of your life. My wide and colorful life experience helps me do this job with confidence, calmness, and heart.
I graduated as a teacher from ELTE University and I am also a somato-psychotherapist, former Business owner, ex-fashion model, kyokushinkai karate trainer . So over the years, I have worked closely with people.
All this experience comes together in my work as a master of ceremonies, where understanding people, situations, and emotions is essential.
My work as a master of ceremonies has also appeared on television.
I was one of the wedding hosts in the RTL show “Married at First Sight”,
and I also hosted two episodes of the wedding-themed series launched on TV2 in March 2024.
These TV appearances have further strengthened the skills that truly matter at a wedding:
being confident in front of the camera, comfortable with an audience, and calm in any situation.
As a master of ceremonies, I don’t only host weddings. I also:
- write articles on wedding-related topics,
- appear regularly as a guest in the newspapers and TV interviews,
- and lead training courses for masters of ceremonies.
This professional background ensures that my work is never done on autopilot, but always with careful planning, awareness, and intention.
It is a great honor that at the Hungarian Wedding Awards Wedding Gala,
Three times I was selected among the top three masters of ceremonies in Hungary
And an even greater joy:
I also had the privilege of being named the best master of ceremonies in the country.

It is important for me to say one thing clearly:
- I am not a traditional, old-style bridesman.
- I do not recite poems
- I do not shout or perform loud folk rituals
- I do not put myself in the center
- I believe in style, peace, and correctness.
I work in the foreground as an elegant presenter and quietly in the background, managing the ceremony smoothly and professionally.
My goal is simple: you should be the main characters of your wedding day.
After a thorough personal discussion, my task is to:
- carefully plan and organize the whole flow of the wedding
- coordinate the program and timing
- support the wedding team when needed
With light humor, short entertaining moments, kind ideas, and a few fun games, I help make the evening more relaxed, joyful, and truly memorable.
You might not realize how much easier and calmer a wedding day becomes with a professional master of ceremonies.
I stand behind you, quietly taking the burden off your shoulders, so you can fully enjoy every moment.
Everything flows smoothly, naturally, and on time.
So at the end of the day, you can honestly say:
“This was the most beautiful day of our lives.”
I will do everything possible to make sure everything goes as planned.
Please feel free to contact me for a casual personal meeting.
We can talk through your ideas, your expectations, and all the important details – calmly and without pressure.
Simply put, the master of ceremonies is the modern, urban version of the traditional best man – without rustic formality.
The master of ceremonies is:
- the host of the wedding
- the program coordinator
- the person who keeps an eye on the staff and service providers
- the one who gently directs the flow of the day
With experience, good sense, and the right timing, the MC adds light entertainment, kind ideas, and joyful moments.
In short, the master of ceremonies takes the weight off your shoulders.
The wedding becomes smoother, more relaxed, and more fun for everyone – free from unnecessary stress and complications.
That is exactly who I am.
Please don’t panic if I am not available on your date.
I can recommend trusted master of ceremonies colleagues, my former students, with a similar style and mindset.
They speak English, German, and Italian.
Just write to me, and I will gladly send you their profiles.
Soon: Wedding Planning
I also have a personal dream: to organize and host a wedding in Asia or Southeast Asia, using my 36 years of experience in the region.
I have traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia and feel a deep connection to it.
For example, I have visited Cambodia seven times. On my first trip in 1997, we even experienced armed conflict during the time of the Khmer Rouge.
These experiences shaped who I am today – calm, adaptable, and reliable in any situation.
Being a master of ceremonies has been part of my life for decades – and yes, it can be addictive :D
I can honestly recommend it to anyone who values people, emotions, and meaningful moments.
I look forward to being your master of ceremonies.
